- Move the door window into the "closed" position.

Note different versions.
The roof trim strips are not riveted to the body and must be
unclipped from underneath for removing.
Do not twist or bend high gloss trim strips.
To remove roof trim molding, it is not necessary to remove the side
window.

1 - Hood
A second technician is needed to support and hold the hood during
removal and installation.
Removing:
Remove the gas-filled strut from the hood. Refer to
→ Chapter "Overview - Gas-Filled Strut".
Remove the nuts -4- from the upper hood
hinge.
Remove the hood.
