Removing
Version 1:
- Remove the clamping pins from the expanding clips
-2-.
- Remove the expanding clips.
- Lift the lock carrier cover -1-
and pull it off the radiator grille -4-.

Removing
Version 1:
- Remove the air intake grille -2-
from the bumper cover -1-.
Version 2:
- Release the hook -arrow A-
using a screw

Replace the seal after replacing the sunroof.
Special tools and workshop equipment
required
Roller -3356-
Seal, Removing
- Sunroof frame removed.
- For removal, remove the seal -1-
from around the roof opening.
Seal, Installing
- Before installing seal, remove adhesi
Note
For the repair use repair wires with a cross section of 0.35
mm2 through 6.0-mm2.
Procedure
- Free up the wire to be repaired at two places approximately
20 cm on both sides of the repair point.
Caution
Risk of damaging the electrical wires.
Expose wrapped wiring harness
