Releasing the engine hood
The engine hood is released from inside the vehicle.

With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

Folding the backrest forward
Pull the release lever > fig. 74 in direction of
the arrow. The backrest will swing forward.
Let the backrest latch into the lowest position.

Buttons are integrated in the steering wheel for easier
operation of Infotainment, telephone and the navigation system.
On vehicles with Tiptronic, rocker switches are also installed
on the left and right.
