Releasing the engine hood

With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

ABS Repair Instructions
ABS malfunctions do not affect the brake system and the
booster. Conventional brake system stays operative even without
ABS. A change in braking behavior should be checked. When the
ABS warning lamp comes on the rear wheels can lock-up early when
braking!
WARNING
- Do not run engine and turn front wheels to straight ahead
position.
Fluid cold (approximately 20 ºC (68 ºF) ):
- Remove the cap.
- Wipe dipstick off with a clean cloth.
- Screw cap on hand-tight and unscrew again.
